Water Damage – Carson City Apartment

Water damage occurred when the water line to the washing machine, which was behind the folding doors in the before photo, broke. The renter turned off the water supply and attempted to clean up the water, but there was just to much water for them to deal with. They called the apartment management personnel who in turn turned to a professional provider in SERVPRO. When we arrived, we wet-vacuumed the water up after moving the furniture to allow access to the standing water. After removing the water, we set up commercial air movers and dehumidifiers to complete the drying of the floor and to correct the relative humidity in the apartment.
