Storm Damage – Carson City Office Building

Storm damage to this Carson City office building led to standing water on the upper floor of the office building. SERVPRO of Carson City / Douglas County / South Lake Tahoe was contacted during the storm to place tarps on the roof of the building to stem the flow of water into the upper floor. The tarps did their job, but hundreds of gallons of water had already found its way into the building. SERVPRO would dispatch emergency crews armed with sufficient water removal equipment to clean up the water. Once the standing water had been cleaned up commercial air movers and dehumidifiers would be employed to speed the drying process.
