Commercial Fire Restoration in Carson City

A construction project underway at a Machine Shop in Carson City caught fire from a welder's torch.  The fire was extinguished fairly quickly, and fortunately, no one was injured. However, it produced a large amount of thick black smoke which left a heavy soot residue on everything in the building. SERVPRO of Carson City / Douglas County / South Lake Tahoe was called in for this commercial fire job.

Fires are common on construction sites.  Kiln-dried lumber is vulnerable while it remains exposed before it can be enclosed in fire-resistant drywall.   However, even big jobs like this are routine for the experts at SERVPRO.  The were finished, and the construction was back underway in less than a week.
