Interacting with the Community - SERVPRO of Carson City

As a service provider helping people affected by natural and manmade disasters, we have seen many unfortunate situations being the start of long-term friendships as our SERVPRO crews go beyond the call of duty to assist our clients in times of need. Whether it is boarding up properties to secure them from additional damages, removing items to external storage for better salvaging, or recommending the best ways to restore damaged property, our SERVPRO technicians always work in the best interest of the community.
 
As a service provider that cares deeply about our neighbors, we do not have to wait for disasters to bring us closer. We regularly participate in community events like the 108th Annual Carson Valley Days Parade. In the three-day event, SERVPRO staff members took part in different activities ranging from the games like basketball, carnival rides and even food eating contests as we interacted with members of the community and their kids. Our SERVPRO crewmembers joined the parades, took photos, and generally made memories of good times. Apart from our branded trucks, there was nothing else to remind anyone about emergencies.
 
We have also participated in fun-filled education events like the 24th Annual Fire Fest, South Lake Tahoe. The event gives families a chance to have fun while learning about conservation and safety. We have even earned certificates of recognition for sponsoring some of the events like the Kids Fishing Derby of Douglas County.
 
Apart from the fun activities, we also participate in business events that help us create awareness of how people can benefit from our services. At the South Lake Tahoe business expo, which happens annually, we get a chance to network and let local business owners and non-profit organizations know how SERVPRO can serve them. We also had a stand at the 18th Annual Carson Valley Business Showcase, which allows 100 local businesses to highlight what they have to offer to the community.
